I'm Stephanie Thacker aka "The Steph Series" and the way I started my hair journey was not the way I expected. When I was much younger I had bright bleach blonde hair, which I've always loved. Growing up the roots of my hair began to grow out darker, and darker. Once I was of age I immediately started bleaching my roots to keep the blonde look that I had always had. This was something I'd do every few months and continued to do for years. One day I made the impulsive decision to dye all of my hair, besides the money pieces, a dark brown color. It honestly didn't look bad! And now looking back I, of course, wish I would have just left it just like this. But unfortunately that was not the case...

This very heartbreaking experience ended up turning into a blessing in disguise. While in the process of losing my hair, I was recording mostly every moment to send to my best friend. I later ended up putting the videos together to post on TikTok and share my story. That was something that took a while to post because I was terrified of the reaction I would get online.
